Lucy: Our Relative?

I'm sure you've heard of Lucy, one of the most famous supposed 'missing link'. She was found in Ethiopia by a scientist named Donald Johanson in 1974. Although only 47 out of 207 bones were found {that's more than most finds} 'she' was considered to be the 'missing link' between human & ape. Her scientific name is Australopithecus afaranesis. She was name 'Lucy' because Donald was listening to Lucy in the sky with diamonds by the Beatles after finding her.

So was 'Lucy' really the missing link? NO! After further studies by scientists she was discovered to actually be a he, and they found that his wrists and arm bones were very chimpanzee like
From the neck up 'Lucy' was gorilla like, her brain was 1/4 the size of a human's, her jaw was gorilla shaped, her teeth far larger than a human's.
Apparently his knee bones and hips were what he used to stand upright. Donald admitted her knee bones were found 2-3 km away, and 200 ft below in a lower layer.

Several investigators, including Richard Leakey, have now concluded that two or perhaps three species have been wrongly combined in "Lucy." She was not a human ancestor. At best, she was a form of extinct ape; at worst, she was a mosaic, yet she is still touted as the best "evidence" for human evolution.
Still today 'Lucy' is being taught in our schools as a missing link, and showcased in museums. How can this be when it is so obvious that she wasn't 'half-human' at all? God created humans different from other creatures, and 'Lucy' was definitely not our relative.
